Advocacy / Policy

This section includes four categories of documents that programme managers and partners can use as a basis to advocate for integrated CCM (iCCM) implementation, such as needed policy changes.

 

Programming

This section includes materials to guide overall iCCM programming throughout the program cycle.  Tools include guidance on design and implementation based on CCM Benchmarks.  There are also resources to train CHW's and Supervisors on the iCCM program which include specific tools, forms, and job aides.  The materials further cover the logistics to prevent stock-outs and maintain efficient records of inventory.  The section concludes with information regarding the use of BCC materials to increase demand for child survival services.

 

This section provides the monitoring and evaluation tools needed for a quality iCCM program.  Successful CCM programming depends on careful design and monitoring of CCM from a health systems perspective.  To help achieve this, the key Benchmarks provided in this section need to be taken into account when designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating iCCM programs.  Accompanying these Benchmarks are indicators to standardize iCCM program monitoring and evaluation.  Use of these indicators also facilitates cross-country learning and contribution to shared goals.  This section also includes CHW tools that operationalize standard data collection.
 

TOOLS OVERVIEW
